The Emporia site has uniquely aligned our vision strategies and long term corporate responsibilities to reduce our impact to the environment, via our sustainability plan. Our progress and site maturity regarding these initiatives has invited rapid action and sustainable practices throughout our entire site.

Emporia has truly transformed the mindset while transforming our campus to become “Green”. Examples include, recycling and reuse, water reuse and reduction, and employee campaigns that have impacted all waste streams. These practices have been so effective, our site employees continue these efforts in their personal lives, providing real examples of how it’s impacting our community. The site now has its vision set to move toward achieving TRUE-certifion to the Platinum level.

“By 2025, we aim to achieve 100% TRUE certification for our global operations, including manufacturing sites, technology centers, strategic offices and owned warehouses,” says Ann Tracy, Chief Sustainability Officer. “With enthusiastic teams, collaborative partners and this comprehensive approach to waste reduction, we’re confident we can make it happen.”
