Project Overview:

At Earth Friendly Products (EFP), we aim to eliminate waste throughout our manufacturing processes by encouraging waste diversion from landfill and incineration. Our facilities across the U.S have achieved TRUE Zero Waste certified at the Platinum level. Therefore, our goal is to eliminate waste at the source and at all points down the supply chain. Reducing unnecessary waste at the source allows Earth Friendly Products to both mitigate the inefficient use of our natural resources and benefit economically from decreased handles and disposal costs.

Through our Zero Waste Policy and practices, EFP continuously works on minimizing waste, maximizing recycling and reducing consumption.

In order to comply with EFP’s Zero Waste Goals, we are requesting all vendors, service providers, and guests visiting any of our facilities to adhere to the following guidelines and are expected to:

  • Comply with all applicable environmental, health and safety laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Comply with all applicable labor laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Encourage their suppliers to adhere to similar environmental and social responsibility principles.

Reducing unnecessary waste at the source allows Earth Friendly Products to both mitigate the inefficient use of our natural resources and benefit economically from decreased handling and disposal costs. At Earth Friendly Products, we have created a recycle-friendly environment with easy-to-reach bins that are labeled reminding everyone what goes where. Bins and signage will train and remind employees to divert waste for reuse. It’s a challenging journey with many steps, but the destination is rewarding for our company, our employees and the environment.
