TRUE had the pleasure of participating in Circular City Week 2021 as a host and panelist in multiple events. Circular City Week is an open and collaborative festival led by the Danish CleanTech hub for circular economy related events that address topics like reuse, recycling and upcycling in transforming urban industries and the city as a whole. This year the festival was mostly virtual but hosted an impressive 90 events with over 300 speakers!
New York City has risen to the circularity challenge and is a global leader when it comes to the circular economy. The events featured advancements in recycling and composting, as well as companies and facilities that are making choices to pursue zero waste efforts and close the loop.
