When is the registration fee due?
The registration fee is a flat fee paid up front at the time of registration. There is a 10% discount for paying the registration and certification fees together. Contact us to learn more.
When is the certification fee due?
The certification fee can be paid together with the registration fee, or before the project team submits documentation for review.
Is recertification required?
Yes - a project must be recertified every 3 years and pay the associated recertification fee.
How do I calculate gross floor area?
Gross floor area is the sum of the floor area of the spaces within the building(s), including basements. Areas dedicated to parking and circulation of motor vehicles are excluded.
What if my project is in Canada?
Please visit the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) website for pricing details. Member pricing applies to USGBC members and CaGBC members.
