Navneeth R Krishnan is a Civil Engineer with a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He currently serves as a Manager at Chola MS Riskspecializing in developing sustainable strategies related to water, waste, and carbon management. With over six years of experience in the field of Environment and Sustainability, Navneeth brings expertise in Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) certification support, water audits, integrated water management, ETP adequacy studies, hazardous waste audits, Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWTL) assessments, and carbon footprint analysis. He is a Certified AWS Specialist and an approved Functional Area Expert for Water, Solid, and Hazardous Waste by the Quality Council of India – NABET, under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. He is also a Certified Carbon Footprint Professional accredited by the Confederation of Indian Industry. Navneeth has led over 25+ water audit and ETP adequacy studies across key sectors including pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, and fertilizers. He has successfully supported multiple industries in achieving AWS and ZWTL certifications. His previous experience in waste management includes working as a Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, where he contributed to a Department of Science and Technology project focused on developing methodologies for the remediation of dumpsites in India.
