Avery Dickard

I am a Waste Auditor and Analyst with Certified Waste Solutions, where I help organizations understand what they are throwing away and identify practical opportunities to reduce waste, improve diversion, and strengthen their sustainability programs. I plan and conduct waste audits for corporate campuses and other complex facilities, evaluating landfill, recycling, compost, and specialized material streams to identify contamination, recoverable materials, and gaps in existing programs.

My role combines hands-on fieldwork, data analysis, program development, and employee education. I coordinate the audit process from planning collection logistics and sorting materials to analyzing composition data, preparing reports, and developing clear, actionable recommendations. I also conduct facility assessments, review collection systems, and collaborate with facility teams, janitorial providers, and haulers to address operational challenges.

I enjoy turning what we find in the waste stream into meaningful insights that clients can use to make informed decisions and measure progress.
