After 30+ years in the food service/commercial kitchen/dining facility industry, it was time to do my part as a Food Service Industry-Specific Environmental Consultant. Commercial kitchens use more water/energy per square foot than any other, and food waste accounts for a third or more of total waste, not to mention the water and energy it took to produce it. Quantifying successes in water/energy savings and waste reduction is very important, food service has significant contributions to make. Not just restaurants, hospitals, schools, business & industry, prisons, college/universities all have at least vending but more often, robust foodservice programs and/or dining facilities. I specialize in Revit/BIM, waste reduction, water & energy savings & auditing. A LEED AP since 2009, ID&C since 2010, TRUE Advisor, 2018, I help foodservice consultants, architects and end users reach their resource preservation goals whether it is new construction or remodel. I also offer Revit/BIM services and often use it to compare options. Proud to say that Asset Management/Life Cycle parameters are built into my BIM content.
