Maria Alex Cardona

Maria Alexandra serves as the Colombia Market Development Specialist for GBCI in partnership with the Colombian Green Building Council (CCCS). Her work focuses on expanding the market for LEED and sustainable buildings in Colombia by strengthening existing partnerships with LEED professionals and project teams, as well as engaging new projects, partners, and industry leaders. Prior to joining GBCI, Maria Alexandra served as a sales and business development professional in the building industry, specializing in fenestration. She has 20 years of experience developing international commercial opportunities in the building industry. She has been a supporter, sponsor and member of the Colombia Green Building Council since 2012. She is a graduate of the Universidad Autónoma del Caribe with a degree in architecture and she is a LEED Green Associate professional. Maria Alexandra is based in Bogotá, Colombia.
