Emily DeCremer

Emily DeCremer is a TRUE Certification consultant and Senior Project Manager with All About Waste. In addition to All About Waste, Emily supports the TRUE program as a contractor and is an environmental studies instructor at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA. Emily is the foremost expert in the market on the TRUE program outside of program staff. Emily has over 15 years of experience in zero waste ranging from managing waste diversion programs to training and education. More recently she was the Program Manager of TRUE, where she managed the day-to-day operations and ongoing evolution of the certification as well as reviewing TRUE certification applications, creating and teaching professional credential courses, and creating other educational content. In her time as Program Manager, Emily worked with many Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and government agencies on zero waste. Emily is a certified Sustainable Resource Management Professional and TRUE Advisor, and holds a BA from University of California, Merced where she was part of the 1st 4 year class of pioneering students. During her time at UC Merced, she helped to build and manage on-site diversion programs for the University as the Student Recycling Coordinator.
