I am an advocate for helping businesses reduce environmental impacts while saving time and money by rethinking how they handle trash and paper towel waste! As we all know, there is an increased focus on cleanliness and hand washing to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Our new normal will represent a world where customers will expect, even demand, a cleaner and more sanitary experience. I founded Compaction Technologies Inc. in 2006 where we provide innovative, cost effective, and sustainability solutions such as: 1) The ecotrash® PTC® (Paper Towel Compactor) provides a restroom technology that creates a sanitary restroom experience with contactless deposits. This provides a hands-free solution that captures 20 times more used paper towels than a standard built-in waste basket and means no more paper towels overflowing onto the floor. 2) The ecotrash® Dining Room Compactor provides a green alternative and helps more efficiently manage the trash generated by consumers in quick serve restaurants, cafeterias, and convenience dining environments. This reduces the trash and bags going to landfills, trash can changes by 80% and the amount of fuel and associated emissions from garbage trucks.
