I have always had a passion for the environmental fields having completed a Masters Degree in Aquaculture at Rhodes University in South Africa. I was then involved in the water and wastewater industry for 10 years. I have now been involved in the waste and recycling sector for the past 10 years in both South Africa and the UK. During this time I have seen a significant increase in awareness in recycling, waste reduction and zero waste initiatives.
