Danelle Brown

As the Founder of By Mnemosyne—an innovation and remembrance consultancy—I harness my multidisciplinary background in design, business, health, history, and sustainable development, to serve as Creative and Sustainability Director for clients/projects, stewarding innovation, plus better planetary and societal health and well-being. Versed in cross-sectoral innovation at the design, operational, strategic, and value-chain level, my experience includes built environments, communications, CPG, events, fashion, health, real estate, social impact, and technology sectors. As an entrepreneur, employee, and contractor, I have worked for, and been sought by, pioneering and Fortune 100 brands, organizations, and executive teams at leading companies and nonprofit organizations. I hold a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Harvard, with a focus on the history of science, technology, and medicine. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, with a focus on sustainability from the Fashion Institute of Technology, one of its first students to do so. Additionally, I earned certifications including that of a Sustainability Excellence Associate and a TRUE Advisor (certified by GBCI), and completed certificate programs and trainings by esteemed programs and initiatives such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol—an initiative of the World Resources Institute and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD); the Healthy Materials Lab at at Parsons School of Design; and the Climate Reality Leadership Corps—a multi-day training with former Vice President Al Gore and world renowned scientists, experts, organizers, and communicators. https://www.bymnemosyne.com/
