I am the Director of Sustainability at Colegio Rochester, where I have been working for the past 20 years, leading sustainability initiatives that integrate environmental stewardship into education. I have played a key role in achieving LEED Gold certification for Schools, LEED Gold O+M v4.1, and LEED Platinum O+M v4.1, as well as the TRUE Gold certification for Zero Waste at Colegio Rochester.Beyond these certifications, I lead various institutional programs, including Siembra Árboles, Siembra Vida, through which we have successfully planted more than 18,000 native trees in the Municipality of Chía, contributing to ecosystem restoration and environmental awareness.As a Global Schools Advocate for the Global Schools Program, I am committed to fostering sustainability education and empowering students and teachers to take action for a more sustainable future. My work focuses on integrating the LEED Campus as a living textbook, designing pedagogical activities aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and implementing circular economy strategies to enhance resource efficiency.
