I am a well-rounded waste and recycling industry veteran with a reputation for dedication, efficiency, and a steadfast commitment to finding and taking advantage of ways to do things better. Throughout more than 26 years of experience in the waste disposal and management industry, I have devoted myself to improving processes, saving money, and delivering above and beyond operational performance. Among my chief assets is an exhaustive background in accounting and financial analysis, cultivated and refined in a variety of sectors, including waste management, food-and-beverage, and the government. As a regional executive with one of the largest North American waste and recycling companies, I gained an intimate understanding of finance management and operations at the all levels. At the same time, I obtained nuanced understanding of the waste management and disposal industry from the front-line to the C-level suite. Working with VPs and Directors as well as personnel in landfill, transfer station, and material recovery facilities, I learned every facet of the process from end-to-end while guiding numerous acquisitions and municipal tenders from initiation to conclusion. I also worked with an Industry Canada engineer while with one of the largest waste and recycling companies to close the loop for customers for their discarded materials. I am the CEO of Xerowaste Solutions, which offers low-carbon footprint battery-powered load movers to move waste and recycling totes, bins, roll-off containers, and self-contained compactors from the waste room to the servicing area safely and cost-effectively.
