Madison Mavis

Madison is a Strategic Partnerships Specialist at Helpsy, a certified B-Corp with the primary mission of keeping clothing out of the trash. At Helpsy, Madison forms partnerships with fashion/accessories brands to divert excess inventory, damages, returns, samples, misprints and more from ending up in a landfill or getting incinerated. She works to craft personalized strategies for each brand to maximize value and reduce negative environmental impact. An alumna of GCNYC's Sustainable Fashion master's program, her dedication to sustainability extends into the policy sphere as well. She is an active member of the Act on Fashion coalition, advocating for the swift passage of the New York Fashion Act. Before enrolling in GCNYC, Madison's previous career was in advertising production. She produced television & social campaigns for brands such as Budweiser, 7Up, Kraft Mac & Cheese, JP Morgan Chase, and Pfizer to name a few.
