I am a specialist in the Circular Economy with over ten years of experience designing and implementing waste-to-value systems across East Africa. As Senior Manager and Circular Economy Lead at KPMG’s International Development Advisory Services, I guide firms in developing zero-waste and waste management roadmaps that embed lifecycle thinking into product and process design. As Impact Manager at Bopinc, I led flagship circular initiatives that generated new revenue streams for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Through Transform Refill, we eliminated single-use plastics via refill-based distribution networks; OFARMS converted food waste into animal feed and bio-compost; and REALMS project on regenerative-agriculture loops. Earlier in my career, I built an industrial symbiosis platform for the Association of Animal Feed Manufacturers, supported climate-smart agribusiness ventures at the Kenya Climate Innovation Centre, and launched biofertilizer and IPM solutions at Koppert Biological Systems. I hold an MEnvSc from Kenyatta University and certifications from MIT’s Circular Economy Transitions Programme, and I am a Chartered by the Chartered Institute of Waste Management (UK).
