Joanna brings over 25 years of diverse business management experience with a background in marketing, renewable energy, sustainability and design. Founder of Sustainability Solutions (www.NowPartOfTheSolution.com) and creator of ECO Waste Tracker (www.ecowastetracker.com) and Waste Conversion Calculator (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/waste-conversion-calculator/id6471593645), she specializes in creating innovative tools and actionable strategies for schools and businesses to maximize positive impact. With credentials including TRUE Zero Waste Advisor Certification and recognition from the US Green Building Council, Joanna is a dedicated leader in sustainability. As a category expert in California's new SB 1383 legislation, Joanna recently served as a speaker and panelist for CalRecycle's 'SB 1383 Chat with CalRecycle - Local Education Agency Focus.' Guided by a steadfast commitment to purpose, Joanna pioneers ground-breaking solutions, supporting and steering organizations toward sustainable practices that align with their core values. Joanna’s commitment to sustainability started as a child and she currently leads a zero waste lifestyle with her family in California. As part of her commitment to creating positive impact in the community as well as fostering a culture of entrepreneurship among children, Joanna started the Rancho Santa Fe Children’s Business Fair (an annual zero waste event), now in its 4th year, where she volunteers as the Executive Director.
